New Membership - To join RAS as a new member complete the RAS Chapter Membership Form, submit your application form and membership fee by U.S. Mail or online. This can be done several ways, Register and submit fees online or print and mail the Membership Forms available from this website (PDF File or Online Text Form), just fill out and mail. You will receive a letter confirming your membership and then in a few weeks your membership card and magazine will follow from the National Audubon Society. All future membership renewals are made through the National Audubon Society. You can renew a membership online or by mail. You will receive a form in the mail for renewal through the NAS just before your subscription year ends. Use that to renew all future memberships or do so online. Your Richmond membership is covered in the national renewal fee after the first year.
Gift Membership - Gift memberships are also available. This makes a great birthday or holiday gift for the bird enthusiast in your life. Simply give a gift membership online or printout a Membership Form available from this website (PDF File or Online Text Form) and indicate it as a gift membership. Your family member or friend will soon be able to enjoy all the benefits of being an Audubon member for a full-year.
Renewal Membership - Once you have been a RAS member for a year, the National Audubon Society will correspond with you directly for your RAS membership renewal. This is for all future renewals as well. You can renew your membership by returning the renewal membership form that comes in the mail or you can renew your membership on line by visiting their website at: www.websvr.audubon.org/forms/updated/login.html
Change of Address and Contact Information - Keep your membership contact information and membership status current, ON-LINE! As a member of the NAS, you can access and update personal information and renew membership status through the National Audubon Society’s website at: www.websvr.audubon.org/forms/updated/login.html or contact the RAS Membership Committee Chairperson.
NAS Membership Number and Expiration Date - The mailing label that is on any of your copies of the Audubon magazine indicates your Audubon Membership. Below is a sample mailing label. The twenty character number (indicated here in blue) and your membership expiration date (indicated here in yellow as May 2006).
RAS Membership Meetings - or chapter meetings, are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m., at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 7757 Chippenham Parkway, at the Custis Rd. and Chippenham Parkway intersection. No meetings are held during the summer months and in December.

Pre-Meeting Dinner - As a new member, your first Pre-meeting Dinner is on us! Simply contact the Hospitality Chair to make your reservation. Dinner and fellowship starts at 5:30 before the regular chapter meeting at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 7757 Chippenham Parkway, at the Custis Rd. and Chippenham Parkway intersection.
