About The Youth Outreach Committee (RAS Kids)
The goal of this committee is to collaborate with youth-based organizations to promote outdoor experiences to youth. We provide active, hands-on, activities of the natural world that allow youth to connect with the environment and wildlife. We use a variety of educational techniques to help youth gain respect for themselves and the environment, plus we partner with community-based organizations (e.g., city/county parks and recreations programs, state agency environment agencies, university educational programs, etc.) to provide youth-based outdoor education programs and experiences.
