About The Membership Committee

"The Thrasher" newsletter is the information life line of our organization. This committee gathers and compiles the information, articles, committee reports and images needed to produce this award winning publication. Then assembles them and produces the production files needed for the printer as well as for the PDF files for the website. Articles and ideas are always welcome. This committee also works closely with the membership committee to check the accuracy of its mailing list.

So what can you do?

Write articles about local birds, bird news, or give an account of your latest field trip.

New Editor Needed

The job consists of gathering and arranging pre-written articles, announcements, and other text-based information, inserting appropriate pictures and clip-art, checking grammar and spelling, and readying the final product for the printer and website. Training will be provided. Some equipment required such as a computer and e-mail capability. Expected time required: 10 to 12 hours a month for 7 issues.

Contact "The Thrasher" Committee Chairperson to volunteer.
