About The Education Committee

Audubon’s education committee works to provide educational information, opportunities and people knowledgeable about birds and bird conservation to help teach about birds. We also offer educational programs throughout the area to broaden the knowledge of our local birds and their interactions with this area. So, whether you are a teacher, mother or father, student, home schooler, day-care provider, or Scout leader, we hope to work with you in the future. Happy birding!

The goal of this committee is identify the audiences the chapter wishes to reach through education. We set and carry out goals for educational programming during the year. We determine the programs needed to reach such audiences and identify capable volunteers to deliver educational programs and to implement educational projects.

Our society has participated in numerous educational and conservation activities in the past and we strive to continue to support those venues.
