Byrd Park Display Completion
Richmond's Byrd Park Display Completed
This RAS partnership which coordinated with Friends of Byrd Park member Sharon Hill to compile the elements and complete this local park project. The display is located at Richmond's Byrd Park on the west side of Swan Lake. The collaboration on information, plus a RAS grant to fund the display insert production, and photographs provided by RAS member Bob Schamerhorn of www.iPhotoBirds.com all made this possible. This park is centrally located in the heart of Richmond next to Maymont Park. The display shows and describes many of the local bird species that are regularly seen around the park. Be sure to visit Byrd Park to see this informative public display. Special thanks to Sharon Hill and Friends of Byrd Park for all their hard work on this project.
